Enrollment FAQs

Answers to common questions about enrolling at NLCA.

Frequently asked questions

Do families really pay no tuition?

Yes — there is no tuition. As a public charter school, New Life Charter Academy is funded by the state, so families do not pay tuition to attend. There is no application fee either.

What grades do you serve?

We serve students in grades K through 5.

How does the lottery work?

If applications exceed available seats, a public lottery is held. Siblings of current students receive priority, and all other applicants are selected at random.

What's your class size?

We keep class sizes small to support personalized learning, with additional support in the early grades and targeted help in reading and math as needed.

Do you offer special education services?

Yes. We have certified ESE teachers, speech-language pathologists, and a counselor on staff. We honor existing IEPs and 504 plans, and partner closely with families on accommodations.

Is transportation provided?

We offer bus service within a 5-mile radius for a small monthly fee. Most families use our morning car line, which moves quickly.

When can I tour?

We'd love to meet you! Schedule a tour or call (954) 381-5199 to visit at your convenience.
